What we collect

Birth details
Your date, time and place of birth, so kalpa can calculate your Vedic birth chart. You can edit them at any time.
Account details
Your email address and sign-in information.
Conversations
The questions you ask, kalpa’s answers, and any context you choose to share, such as a relationship or a decision you’re weighing.

How we use it

To calculate your chart and current timing, answer your questions, keep your account working, and keep kalpa safe and reliable. That’s it: no advertising profiles, and nothing sold to data brokers.

AI providers

kalpa uses third-party AI models to write its answers. To respond, we send the provider your message, the relevant parts of your chart, and any saved context that helps.

Providers process this only to generate a response, under agreements that limit how long they keep it and prohibit using it to train their models.

Memory and conversations

With memory on, kalpa keeps relevant context, like an ongoing situation you’ve mentioned, so later answers can build on it.

Pause memory
kalpa stops learning and recalling. Nothing is deleted.
Clear memory
Saved context is erased. Your conversations stay.
Delete a chat
That conversation is removed from your account.

Analytics and cookies

This website uses Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to count page views and measure performance. They don’t use cookies or track you across other sites. We don’t use advertising cookies.

Retention and deletion

We keep your information while your account is open. Delete your account and we erase your birth details, conversations and memory within 30 days, apart from anything we’re legally required to keep.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask to see, correct, export or delete your information, or object to how we use it. Email us and we’ll respond within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

kalpa is for people aged 18 and over. We don’t knowingly collect information from children; if you think we have, tell us and we’ll delete it.

Changes and contact

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we’ll tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. The date at the top always shows the latest version.
